This is confirmed by our latest project for Progetto Infissi srl, an Italian company specializing in windows and doors, which requested the delivery of three mats designed to meet very specific needs. The Request: 3 Outdoor Doormats and 3 Challenges
The project presented three major challenges. Thefirstinvolved creating three outdoor doormats that would feature a rather distinctive company logo on their surface, characterized by intricate shapes and the company’s name. This design had to be faithfully reproduced on the coarse fibers of the mat selected for the project—the “Outside” model, known for its drainage properties and ability to effectively manage rainwater. The difficulty lay precisely in faithfully transferring such a detailed image onto a material designed for outdoor use (even if covered), where weather conditions can put graphic precision to the test.
Thesecondchallenge was related to dimensions. The water-draining outdoor rugs, in fact, had to be custom-made in different sizes, precise to the centimeter, based on the available space that needed to be fully covered in the company’s three entrances. A sort of “custom fit” based on the perimeter of each entrance.
Thethird andfinal challenge was the tight deadline: the mats had to be delivered by the opening date of Progetto Infissi SRL’s corporate showroom, which was just around the corner. In a context where punctuality and precision are essential, meeting deadlines was an absolute requirement to ensure the success of the opening event.
Designing Custom Rugs
Such ambitious challenges required a design process that took various variables into account. At this stage, the work of our in-house graphic design team was invaluable: thanks to careful planning of the design workflow, the creativity of our designers, and the great technical flexibility with which our custom rugsare conceived, we were able to find the right fit for every need. The prototypes, created using detailed graphic drafts, were shared with and approved by the client, dispelling any difficulties or doubts and allowing the project to move swiftly to the next phase. This demonstrates that when you work with dedication and expertise, you can achieve even the most complex results.
The Production of Outdoor Drainage Mats
The graphic design team successfully translated the logo’s complex design into an accurate reproduction on the fibers of the Outside outdoor drainage rugs, highlighting the high quality and innovation of Olivo.pro’s outdoor drainage rugs.
To ensure seamless integration with the entryways and visual harmony with the showroom’s interior, three specific sizes were developed, designed to fit harmoniously into the company’s entryways:
• OUTSIDE with border, dimensions 40×164 cm
• OUTSIDE with border, dimensions 84×177 cm
• OUTSIDE with border, measuring 73×170 cm
These sizes were carefully tailored to fit the available spaces, covering the entire perimeter of the entrances and helping to create a professional image for Progetto Infissi.
