It is precisely these needs that inspired the project we carried out for Bibione Residence Apartments, for which we developed custom-made mats that combine functionality, elegance, and durability, guiding the client through every stage of the process—from the initial consultation to the delivery of the finished product.
A custom hand dryer chosen directly from the catalog
Customers often contact us after reviewing our catalog and the corresponding product data sheets. They come to us with a well-defined idea and request a quote for a specific solution, having already identified the product that best suits their needs.
This is exactly what happened with Mr. Thomas Zanon, who contacted us to create entrance mats for the Bibione Residence Apartments. Since the property is located in a beach resort, he was looking for a custom doormat that was elegant, professional, and capable of withstanding sand, moisture, and constant foot traffic.
Eternity, the custom-designed foot dryer for commercial entryways
For this project, the choice fell on Eternity, a 9-mm-thick professional doormat with BFL-S1 fire certification, designed to ensure high performance in high-traffic areas.
Its unique, slightly textured absorbent fiber effectively traps water, dust, and dirt on the very first pass, helping to keep indoor spaces cleaner.
Although it is an ideal solution for recessed installation, Eternity can also be used as a freestanding mat thanks to its rubberized, trip-resistant edge. It is the perfect choice for entrances to residential buildings, hotels, offices, stores, and any other setting that requires a durable, long-lasting product. From the initial design to the rug with a custom logo
Early in the consultation process, the client had expressed a desire to have the rugs made in a specific crescent shape. This is a customization we can provide for an additional fee, as it requires a dedicated production process.
However, by analyzing the building’s layout and its daily use together, we identified an even more functional solution: we decided to create three rectangular rugs in custom sizes—fully tailored to the available space—and finished with a rubberized anti-tripping edge.
This choice proved particularly well-suited for a tourist residence, where families with children and guests with suitcases and luggage carts are constantly coming and going. The border facilitates movement and helps increase safety at the entrances, in addition to ensuring greater stability for the rug during daily use.
Graphic Design of the Custom Logo Rug
Once the shape and dimensions were finalized, we turned our attention to the graphic design aspect of the project. To help the client choose a color—since he was undecided about the right shade—we created two mockups of the rug featuring a custom white logo: one with an orange background and one with a light blue background. Along with the proposals, we also sent photographs of the color swatches to allow for a more accurate assessment of the shades and the final result.
After comparing the different proposals, the client chose the light blue shade, which was considered more elegant and perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere of the residence and the seaside setting where the rugs would be placed.
A custom-made, made-to-order doormat
Once the design drafts were approved, we moved on to production and the subsequent delivery of the mats.
The final result fully satisfied the client, who sent us some photos of the products already installed in the residence’s entryways. The images confirm that a custom-made doormat is not merely a functional element but also helps enhance the property’s image, offering guests a warm welcome from the very first step.
