The project created for the Lemonde concept store originated from a request submitted through the “Request a Quote” section of our website, a tool designed to simplify the collection of information and provide quick and accurate quotes.
The initial request was for a custom-logo indoor rug, measuring 80×190 cm, designed to highlight the opening of a new retail location.
As is often the case in the world of custom rugs for stores, there was no immediate response after the initial contact. This is a common occurrence in retail, where operational priorities can change rapidly, especially during the setup phase. For this reason, our approach goes beyond simply sending a quote; it includes careful follow-up that respects the client’s timeline.
Custom Rugs for Stores: From Concept to Actual Dimensions
In Lemonde’s case, the project got back on track just as the store was becoming a reality. The customer contacted us again with updated custom measurements, changing from 80×190 cm to 90×170 cm. This type of change is perfectly normal, because only once on site is it possible to accurately assess the available space or the desired aesthetic result.
Given such specific dimensions, we examined the installation context in greater detail by requesting photos of the entryway to determine whether the rug would be recessed or simply laid flat. This step allowed us to evaluate every detail and ensure the product’s seamless integration into the space.
Are custom measurements only needed for recessed installations? Absolutely not! They’re often chosen even when the rug is placed freely on the floor, to ensure 100% customization.
Doormat: Functionality and Aesthetics
Once all the technical details had been finalized, the choice of product was immediate. Luxury Plus, the original Olivo Pro, is the ideal solution as a doormat for high-traffic areas such as stores.

Once the graphic design was finalized, approval came immediately, and we quickly began production. During this phase, a new requirement arose: the store’s grand opening was imminent, and the carpet had to be delivered within a very tight deadline.
Thanks to close coordination with the production department, we were able to meet the deadline and ensure on-time delivery. The rug was placed at the store’s entrance, completing the space in a functional and perfectly integrated way.
